NAME: Zara Anne Davenport. AGE: 23 BIRTHDAY: November 30, 1986 FAMILY: Twin sister (23), two older brothers (30, 26). SCREENNAME: breathe zaralina OCCUPATION: Cosmetologist
BIOGRAPHY/PERSONALITY: For most of her life, Zara had to fight to be heard. Her family, chaotic and large, never really reached for the conventional, nor did they reach for the stars. She was never told that she'd be a big deal someday, she was never actively encouraged to follow her dreams and if she so much as mentioned college, the idea was shot down. After struggling to send her eldest brother, the family had learned that the money just wasn't there. There was no room for stars in the girl's eyes and so for most of her life, she was plain little Zara Anne. The youngest of the Davenport children.
Born in the early hours of a cold November morning, Zara arrived just minutes after her twin sister. Parents Emily and Nathaniel were thrilled to welcome their baby girls to the world, their family was now complete. As far as childhoods go, theirs was a happy one. Although the family never had much, the children were always put first. Sacrifices were made, happily, to give them what they needed. By the time they reached school age, the girls had each developed their own, strong, personalities. Zara was the quieter of the two but she'd already discovered music, something which would stick with her through thick and thin. Whether it was playing air guitar or constructing her own drumkit out of empty containers and tubs, she just enjoyed making noise. She was heard. Her sister, on the other hand, was loud in personality. Bratty, cheeky, always timed out ... Zara was generally well behaved. She just needed that extra time to catch up.
Where her sister led, Zara followed. That was, until high school kicked in and they found themselves in different cliques. The girls were close, yes, but when they were in school, they hardly spoke. It was during these years that Zara really came into her own. She grew into her skin and became more comfortable with the person she was becoming. The girl discovered boys in her freshman year but, surprisingly for her, she found that she wasn't only attracted to the opposite sex. As time went on, she became more and more adventurous, dabbling in alcohol and parties, becoming more and more rambunctious by the day. It wasn't long before the rumors started to spread; Zara Davenport was this, Zara Davenport was that, Zara Davenport slept with this one, that one and the next one ... but none of them were true. Kids will go to extraordinary lengths to bring each other down. And so it wasn't very long until Zara learned not to place any stock by what other people think about you. If they don't know you, then their opinion is irrelevant, right? Her attitude changed. She froze out those she believed to be untrustworty, she kept only a select few close and by the time she graduated high school, it could be argued that she was one of the school bitches. She just condsidered herself to be honest.
After high school, it took Zara a little while to decide what it was that she wanted to do with her life. Nothing spectacular, nothing exotic. In fact, in the end, she studied cosmetology and gained her license. Without funds to travel to find her dream job, she scoped out local jobs and she found herself working at a hair boutique/spa. Zara still enjoys partying, she still enjoys drinking (the more deadly, the better), and, unsurprisingly, she still doesn't care about what other people thing of her. At twenty-two years old, she's living in her own apartment, she's still close to her family although she doesn't see them as often as she would like, and her best friend in the world is still her sister. The girl can handle herself, she can take care of herself, and she has never been prouder of herself for getting out and standing on her own two feet. She doesn't know what the future holds for her (who really does?), but she's sure that she's going to enjoy finding out!
